The executive Conference of 12-11-47 considered the incuiry &- tere
from Legal attache Telford of Paris for the Sureau's views on the request E: fmigEs
of thé International vrininal Police vonais sion, which inquired 2s to the ft

larcotics curesu an invitation to “attend the umiual general assembly of
the ITPC next year in Prague, Czechoslovakia. It was not the expressed intention off
the ICPC to offer membership to these organizations but to encouraze treir interest
and cooperation in the subecomeission on counterieiting and forgery and upon the
international control and suprression of narcotics. It was sugzsested that an
American representative of each of these services be invited to attend, either 3s
observers or as members of the .merican delegation, with the "FBI as the head
