Hoover * Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation Washington, D. C, Dear Mr. Hoover, A few days ago, I bad the opportunity to meet your revresentative in Paris, Mr. H. R. Telford and I gave him some details of the results of our last General Assembly which was held in Prague, September 6 to 10, 1948. This International Conference took place under the most favorable con- ditions and the atmosphere was extremely cordial. All the delegations applied themselves, during the course of the die- cussions to remaining strictly on the subject of international criminal police and all the Resolutions were able to be voted on unanimously. I will send you in the near future, the text of the Resolutions adopted during this General Assembly. The absence of your Representative in our discussions was excused by all with a great deal of understanding and I have the pleasure of acvising you tnat your appointment as Vice-Presicent has been renewed unanimously for a seriod of two years.
