During the last General Assembly in PRAGUE, resolution nr. 6 relating to extradition was adopted with the purpose of uri- fying the rules reguléting the law in this field and reinforcing the campaign against international criminal @ctivity,. — It was recommended in this resolution that the delegates bring to the ettention of their redapective governnents the project of the General Convention thugs adopted, emphasising especially the importance of that section relating to the procedure of extradition _and perticularly the 25th article. a oo In recelling your attention to this project, the Secre- tary General of the I1.C.P.C. would like to point out the interest he has in being informed of the reecption thet has been given to the project by the legal authorities of your country. It would be particularly desirable if your government agreed to consider the descriptive circular &s the official notiec of the warrant of arrest. In effect, this document contains all the desired elements of identification and refers as well to the warrant of arrest issued by a competent magistrate or sentence passed by an authority which is competent to prononce it. It brings together, therefore guarantees which are equélly certain both as to the identity of the wanted individual’ and as to the authencity of the action teken.
