GLAVIN June 18, 1942. he advised me that Detective David A. Wilson of the New York Missing Persons Bureau had contected the New York Office concerning an individual who had died the previous night at the Knickerbocker Hospital. This girl, named BarhersMLec, alias Barberf\.inter, was a drug addict, and the New York Police Department, ‘subsequent to her death, received an anonymous tele-— shone call. This enonymous call advised thet Barbara Lee had a brother named Robe’ Loe working in the Identification Division of the Federal Bureeu of Investigation. The anon: s caller dv further added that Miss Lee had a sister named MeryWLeske of 118 Chester Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Cuigley state York Police had checked with Boston and there is no such address. We have some other Lee's working in the Identification Division, but accord- —_ ing to their nersonnel files they do not have a sister named Barbara. Of We have two Robert Lee's in the Bureau, one a supervisor in the Chief a Clerk's Office, who does not have a sister named Barbara, and another, _ an Agent in Houston, who according to his personnel file does not “ have such a sister.
