Brown at which time he advised that he had not been able to get any satisfaction fromtthe police and was therefore contacting the FBI. Ee related that he was seperated from ths wife znd that she and his small son were residing in San Pablo, Calffornig, He said that he cureently resided at Bdmoad, West Virgin&e but had come to Washington t6 seek employmant. He sa that his estranged wife had called his parents in Edmond, Weat Virgisia collect but that his parents | had refugyd te tg accept she call. . fs He Faia ;jthat he wad then attempted to call his-estranged wife and that her husband had answered the telephone and ;yhaéd refused to allow hf@ tao'talk to per and had told him not to call phek. He advised 2 that hervex<hlSband had beat him up gfeviously. He was of the opinion ee. that here ex<hteband was holding her by force, and said that he had called ih the @ax-Pablo police but they had not taken any action. . . = ra ME1I was very incoherent most of the time and sounded that he had been drinking.
