At 11:15 a.m., on December 20, 1061, MED 1 ephoned
long-distance to Bureau Headquarters and spoke to SA John W. O'Beirne of Crime
Research Section.
She spoke in a highly agitated manner and related tne 3X, Theis
having in obtaining a just settlement in her divorce action against her husband, She
ciaims that her busband and his brother ggg are racketeers in Cleveland, Ohio,
and tha is a member of an interstate gambling syndicate. She said he owns two
spite of the fact that he has a felony conviction. She advised that
her husband and his brother have bought off her attorney, law enforcement officers

and the judge who is hearing her divorce tase. She Wanted to know if the Bureau
could assist her in presenting the facts regarding her husband's assets so that she
will get an adequate settlement for the support of their four children, ages one through
seven.
