Captioned individual telephonically contacted the Bureau on
Friday afternoon, 4-14-72, and in your absence was referred to the writer.

vised he was calling from Springfield, Massachusetts,
and gave his home address
said that he needed help but he did not explain just what the problem
e indicated acquaintance with Health, Education and Welfare Secretary
i Elliot Richardson and former Special Agent Fred Robinette. He indicated he
formerly had been employed by CIA and he inferred that in some way that
organization was attempting to put pressure on him. He did not explain how
or why. He referred at one point to ''The Smith Act." pith

or assistance and that e had any information conceruing Federal violations
within the jurisdiction of the Bureau he should contact the resident agency at
Springfield or the field office in Boston.
