Mr. Quinn advised of ind’ Boys Patrol being in Washington; that Mr. Clegg
is going to speak for a few pinutes Friday night; that 8r. Clegg wanted
to know if we could take care of these boys Saturday afternoon; that

that the President is withholding the approval of these two projects
at tha present time because of the unfavorable reports submitted iw
Mttingly. itr. Quinn stated that Judge Holtzoff asked Mattingly if
we could have a conference with him and Mattingly said yes; that
Judge Holtzoff stated that he, Mr. Quinn, and Mr. Tolson could go
over there when Mr. Tolson returns to the city.

the Director's speech. Mr. Quinn advised of the Director's letter
being quoted in thel Washington Post.
Mr. Quinn advised of the telegram from SAC Ait relative
to leave desired by Agent Culbertson. Mr. Hoover stated that this
will be all right.
