Dear Mr. Hoover: PERSONAL
The Convention was a big success from our
point of view I think, you were endorsed by lr.
Mey the Tresident during the course of his speech,
and by Mr. Jenkins, Chief of Police, Portland.dre.,
and I have today mailed you the account as show
by the local newspaper. I also made arrangenents
with the Secretary that the letter be written at
once to the Attorney General, so that we would have
the saze on file.
I think that you should wr. te e letter to the

then if they are ever needed again in any way we
will be able to call on then. te
