Dear Sir: For inclusion in the fund to be paid to the widow or designated beneficiary of any Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Department of Justice, who has contributed to this fund and . who may lose his life by violence in line of official duty, I am forwarda- ing herewith (by CHECK - MONEY OEDER) the sum of ten dollars ($10), made payable to the Chief Clerk of said Bureau, to be included in said fund. It is understood and agreed that the sum tendered herewith is a voluntary, gra- tuitous contribution to said fund, which I understand is to be administered dn the following manner: The Director of the Bureau will appoint a committee which shall consider all matters pertaining to the acquisition, safe keeping, and ex- ‘pending 6f said fond, which committees will recommend wppropriate sactton te the Director of the Buresu in pertinent matters.
