eprendid work and cooperation dyring the pest years, and,
this eccasion presents a suitable opportunity for expressing
the esteem in which we hold the Monorable Attorney-General, Momer 8, Cummings,
and the Director of the Division of Investigation of the United States De-
partment ef Justice, Honorable J, Edgar Hoover.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the members of the Protective Section
of the @merican Railway Association im meeting assembled at Washington,
D. C., this 22nd day of May, 1954, express our deep appreciation and thanks to
then, the gepervisore and the attaches ef their departaents throughout ¢he
eountry for their unfailing courtesy, tact, fairness, and ability in the
discharge of their official duties, which have done much to aid this dssoci-
ation in the successful results of the prosecution of persons violating the
Federal Shaws affecting the railroads and the traveling pwhlic, and
