RESOLUTION OF THLNKS To J. EDGAR HOOVER -
WHEREAS, our distinguished associate, the
Honorable J, EDGAR HOOVIR, Director of the United
states Burean of Investization, is endeavoring,
through every means at his cormand, to ecalicit the
interest of the ceneral publie with regard to
promptly reporting the cammission of a crime or
the whereabouts of « criminal to recognised police
@athoritics, and
WIEREAS, we realize thet hovever effictiaszt
@ police organization may be, the prevention of
cFime and the apprehension and prosecution of
6riminale ig depeniens on the willingness of citizens
te give information and to testify when cognizant of
facta which might lead to such apprehension and prose-

That this Association, in convention assombled,
expreas to Director J. EDGAR HOOVER ites sincere
appreciation of his efforte and its assurance of the
