Payment will be made for death by seli-destruction after the Agent has been ¢ member of the fund for a continuous period of two years. It is understood and agreed thal the sum tendered herewith is a voluntary, gratuitous contribution to said fund which [ undetetand is to be administered in the following manner. The Director of the FBI will appoint a committee which shall consider cll mattera pertaining to the acquisition, safe teeping and expending of said fund, which committee will recommend appropriate action to the Director In pertinent matters, The Assistant Director of the Administrative Divieion of the FBI shall recelve all contributions and account ior same to the Director. Upon the death of any Specia] Agent who is a member of said fund the appointed committee will consider the case and submit a recommendation to the Director as to ite conclusions. Appropriate instructions will then be tasued to the Assistant Director of the Administrative Division, directing him to pay to the designated benellciary the gum of $16,000.
