HOOVER (Bufile 67-561) a 1, j i. i; In connection with an inquiry in captioned matter conducted by the former Inspection Division, there are maintained in the space of the Office of Inspections, Planning and Inspection Division, numerous tickler copies of correspondence, principally FD-302s, and other miscellaneous notes and data relating to that inquiry. Also included are the originals of a number of FD-302s reporting results of interviews conducted by members of the Inspection Staff in 9-10/76. The captioned inquiry concerns the need for a judgment as to the final disposition of the memorabilia. This judgment is pending with the Department and is being followed by the Printing and Space Management Section, Administrative Services Division, which has been designated custodian of the material pending final determination. ! 4 It should be noted that this memorandum pertains to, and the enclosures contain, material of a sensitive and personal nature and is earmarked for filing in 67- 561 which is the Personne file for the late Director Hoover.
