Gandy, former Administrative Assistant 3 to Mr. Hoover. Peyton said that personnel from the Exhibits Section did the packing. and Bob Marsden and Tony Codi were responsible for moving the material. He recalled that the materia] in FBI storage was moved from Taylor Sreet warehouse to the General Accounting Office (GAO) storage but he did not recall when this occurred or the reason for the move. This material was primarily for Peyton's use in building the new FBI tour route for the J. Edgar Hoover Building, which was under construction. He be lieved all of this material was moved into his space in the Old Post Office ca eth ot ee Building about November, 1973, and after it had been there for some time, ze a stockade was built in the warehouse area so that this material could be of given appropriate security. Peyton said at one time consideration was 3 given to establishing a room in the J. Edgar Hoover Building for display of the many items that are included in this material, but that this idea never materialized and consequently these items are still in storage in the Old Post Office Building. 440% k He does not know of any movement of these items other than for official purposes in connection with his work, and he does not know of any items being added to or taken from this material other than for official purposes.
