SOBLE turned this info overto MISHA. In 1949 contact, YLYA again furnished SOBIE names of translation officers working in Berlin. This info given orally end names written down by SOBLE. SOBLE next in contact with WOLSTON, Cologne, Germany, spring, 1950, SOBLE stated WOLSTON must have initiated contact since SOBLE at that time did not know how or where to reach WOLSTON. At this meeting WOLSTON furnished SOBLE names of people who were attending administration school for possible oocupation of Russia. SOBLE did not see WOLSTON again until end of 1955 when met him at ROBERT SOBLE's office in NY. SOBLE admitted introducing ESTHER RAND to — Dr. ROBERT SOBLE. He told ROBERT that RAND had been furnishing information to him. SOBLE stated that RAND introduced him to ALICE MARTIN ‘and Ler husbend, JAMES MARTIN.~° SOBLE said that the MARTINS knew that he end JACOB ALBAM were Soviet agents. SOBLE denied having a contact "Colonel" in Germany. He stated that his only contact in Germany was YLYA WOLSTON. SOBLE denied that KARL GEHHARD, ENRIQUE MAYER, and JAIME JANKELSON were Sovhet agents but admitted knowing all of them.
