SOBLE stated. that in 1942 ZUBILIN alse requasted of SOBLE his knowledge of ADJA ANSCHILEWITZ but SOBLE cleimed that ANSCHILEWIT2Z never worked for Soviets in Canada to his knowledge. SOBLE,when specifically questioned if. he ever received | reports from these individuals in Canada or if he knew they were active with the Soviets for another supertér denied receiving reports or knowing of Soviet activity on the part of ISAAC CHASEN, LASSKY, ANSCHILEWITZ and -SOBLE refused to discuss when questioned repeatedity on hig. brother ROBERT SOBLE. SOBIE stated he still hed"mental blocks” in relation to ROBERT and several other individuals. SOBLE when questioned ebout the meaning of “mental block" stated that it was @ reluctance on his part to telk about certain people especially ROBERT end others.
