Received 'best male actor of 1942' award from ,ppitic's circle for his acting in ‘Yankee Doodle Dandee' Vice-President Cagney Productions since 1942. Films they have since released through United Artists are 'Johnny Come Lately', 'Blood on the Sun', and 'The Time of Your Life.'"
