sory Cleuse* from Wisconsin Universitys that it hak been 4netrumental in having the
budget for the Bational Guard reduced from $9,000,000 to $2,650,000, and said that
the League was now gaining great strides among the students in america, and that they!
were doing their utmost to have military training lessened in American schools. She
gurther stated that an active cempasign was now being eonducted to make war illegal, |
sash as spreading cireviers, etc., and they were trying to arouse the public opinion
of ¢he Versailles freaty. She™ stated that the League sent three delegates into the
state of Pennsylvania in the "Peace Anto" to wake a tour of that State, speaking ot
