He stated thereafter he worked for approximately two years of NBC and then was sent overseas, . He stated that he was aware of the appointee's disorderly arrest in Chicago, however, that he was not aware of anything concerning their arrest that could be adversely connected to the appointee's character inasmuch as he was picked up by the police on sispicion, ; _ * He explained thet the appointee was a native of Chicago and had been raised by his mother who ‘eithé¢: worked or resided’ at the Hotel Ambassador.--2 At the time. that hewas arjes ted, appointee's wife was pregnant. The appcintee had been out drinking and walked by the Ambassador Hotel and seeing the fire escape decided to climb it. He advised that the appointee had been held overnight at the police station and that he was advised of the arrest the next morning, He stated that he was never aware of any more than one arrest and that the appointee had only been held for one. day.
