The new group. known as the Committee on Youth and Justice, has been formed by merging the juvenile delinquency committee of the Bureau for Men and Boys and the similar committee of the Charity Organization Society: The group al- ready is functioning. with offices at 105 East Twenty-second Street. The committee will have as. its objective to add to “existing knowl- edge in the field’ of juvenile de- linguency, and to “help with the promotion of new ideas and methods af treatment.” it was announced. by Community Service Society of New York, whose board of trustees set up the committee. This society was formed last month by the merger of the Charity Organization Society and the New York Association for Improving the Condition of the Poor.
