Frank Coleman has reported to me on his trip last week to
St. Louis, Missouri, and Springfield, Illinois, of which T advised
you in my memorandum dated August 6, 1943.
At Springfield, Illinois, on August 11, iz, and 13, we
Coleman conferred with United States Attorney Doyle and his
~, staff who advised that they would, to the full extent of the
facilities of that office, cooperate enthusiastically with the
Bureau whenever called upon during the course of the investiga-
tion.
Mr. Coleman also consulted with Special agent in Charge
