don't know why the miners struck that day. ,
"I don't recall that anyone of the U.%.7. tried to get
m to join that union in the summer of 1937. I remember
that I was in the picket line at xine B in the fall of 1937. I did not.
have to go to the vicket line. I went because I wanted to, and because
i h.d nothing else to do. I went to the picket line a couple of times
vith men from my neighborhood. I think that only line B men vere doing
the picketing. There vere no outsiders.
