his union represented the majority to place like evidence for Mr. BAJORK
in our presence, fir. CDMUNDSON replied that he did not have to present
any evidence in that corference but that he would do so later at a proper
time and place. At no timc cithor during thc above stated conferences or at
any later date did Mr. EDMONDSON of the United Mino Forkors evor produce any
evidence as proof of a majority. This same petition which we presented to
Kr. BAJORK was previously handed to Ur. ELSHOFF as proof of the desires of
the majority of his employees which, of course, hr. ELSHOFF ignored. The
language of this petition was a clear indication as to the Mine "B" employeest
desire for collective bargaining under tha Progressive Hino jiorkers of
Amorica,

Illinois ot the Federal Building, boing held on October 25, through 27, LOST.”
The hearing was followed by a Labor Board Eloction being conducted by the
WLRB at the State Armory on Deecmber 5, 1957.
