Last vonday or Tuesday, after Labor Day, some man from U.M.n. District
Office spoke to us and says we don't have to talk if we don't want, This man
soic you fellows dontt have any right to question us miners. I heard
thet 12 men went to the Regional Bank Bldg, or U.UW. Bldg. & they were
supposed to have taken their signatures off what thoy sicned. This is what
I heard from the other miners, I also heard these men were to get paid §7.00
a day but I don't by whs they wore to sct poid. F am willing to talk
to you men anyway but I hope I don't get in any trouble over this os I never
been in any trouble in my lifs.

local there was, In 1932 I went with majority to P.M.A. & it didn't make
any <ciffcrence to me & I did not help orgenize over to P.M... Betwoon
1932 & till Mine B closed F.t,4. had little troubles with Elshoff like U.H,
did. In [932 I heard that the Communists wore going to be strong in P.M.A.
but they never got in ot all & I heard they, for years, were not sure
which way they wanted to go & I heard they then went back to UM, & took
tolcs to Ray Edmundson. J never heard Elshoff say anything that he wanted
UM... back, Betweon 1932 & 1937 F.N.A. was like old U.N... local & it was
