"T am quite sure no vote was actually taken at the reeting I attended as described above, but I heard at a later date that all of the men had signed up with United. JI believe I signed up with United about & week or two before the mine opened that fell. Iwas the last engineer to sign up and to the best of my memory I signed up at the U.L.s. hall.
