He stated.that the ae, of x #5000 put up by him was money that had been turned over to him by CHARLES GIOE — for this purpose. He states that GIOH gave him tne money in cashy and that hey ‘+ went to a vank, believed to be the Northwest National Bank, and purchased a certified check which he deposited with Attorney JOE BULGER to be used on an etyeis bond. He stated that he met with GIOB and AtLorne;y BULGER at Gibby's Restaurant, where the matter was discussed,’ | and it was decided that the money vould te returned to him and he would turr : it back over to GI3e.
