Heranoust HOTEL
The Stardust Hotel opened its doors
in July of 1958. JOHN “JAKE THE BARBER" FACTOR took over the
Stardust properties from a previous bankrupt group when
the hotel was only partially completed. Before the hotel
could be completed by FACTOR, the cost of construction was
in excess of $3,000,000.00 more than the original estimate.

The Stardust: Hotel is a plush, modern hotel located
on the "Strip" in Las Vegas, Nevada. It consists of over
1,300 rooms, the construction of which cost in excess of
$15, 000,000.00. The Stardust Hotel rooms range as low
as $6.00 per room, and this hotel caters to the medium
class tourist. Since it was opened in 1958, it has had
outstanding success. The guests at the hotel have access
to the gambling casino, which has 268 slot machines,
seven crap tables, four roulett wheels, 15 twenty-one
games and one keno game. Adjacent to the casino is .
