Mr. Clarence M. Kelley, Director
Federal Bureau of Investigation
Washington, D.C. 20535
Dear Mr. Kelley:
On November 4, 1975 you wrote me in regard to
my request under the FOLPA for Material relating to the
America Fipst movement. You indicated that the material
had been located pertinent to my request.
As I wrote you in my initial letter dated May 17,1975,
I desired to examine this material in relation to a book
that I am doing on the Roosevelt-Churchill partnership.
The manuscript of the book has now been completed.
If the material is to be of any use to me, I must obtain
it in the next few weeks. I do not want to burden you
unduly with a scholar's requests when there are more pressing
matters for you to be concerned with, but surely it
should have been possible for the Bureau to have made
this better than 35-year old data available more expeditiously.
Sincerely yours,
ne
