Kennedy, the President's father, had called the Chicago Office from the Ambassador East Hotel, Mr. Kennedy, who had just checked in at the hotel (room 1542), said he thought his room was "bugged" and he wanted the FBI to check it out. His reason for believing it bugged" was because five minutes after he checked in, all kinds of people arrived at his room. .
