Kennedy, has long been in- terested in the welfare of the young people of this Nation. Recently, funds were made avail- able from the Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., Foundation to erect a skating rink and lounge in Hyannis, Massachusetts, aS a meworial to Mr. Kennedy's son who was killed in World War If. The rink and lounge was decided upon inasauch as it was the most practi- cal and popular choice. It can be converted during the summer months for square dancing, tennis and other activities.
