Rosenberg at the College of the City of Hew Tork, testi sted that
about June 20, 1950, he telephoned sobell and asked if he could
borrow an electrical drt22 Sron Sobell. Sobell told Dangtger he
| woe leaving for @ vacation tn Mexteo and that tf Danziger wanted
the drill he would have to come to Ata home and pick $t UP.
Dangtger went to Sobell's home and saw Morton and Helen Sobell and
Fdith Levttov, sister of Helene Packing was in progresa and
valises were etanding about. The Sobell car was tn the driveway
WivA the trunk open. Sobsii advised Danziger he was lying
Mextco City. Danziger aetuyed about 10 minutes and left. <sAbout
a week later, Danriger recetved a plece of mail from Sobell
postmarked at Merteo Citys The return address on the envelope
had the nome "UM. Sowell” with a Mezteo City address. Danziger
could not reoall the address. The envelope contained a letter-
to Donstger and enclosures. A Bote tn the letter said, “Please
Sorward the enclosures and J'12 exzplein to you when I get back.”
Sobell Pequested that one enclosure be forwarded to Edith Levitov

‘that Sobell requested hin to deliver a note to Maz Paaternak, an
unole of Sobell, to the effect that Sobell could be reached as
"Y. Sowell” at a partioular address in Mezico City. Danziger
