2 Permit me to express to you my sincere regrets concerning the
3 recent unfortunate tragedy at Kaneas City. I know you feel this unforseen
~ happening keenly, as do I and every member of the Bureau, and it is be-
se of my desire to be of assistance that I am taking the liberty to nen
geddress this letter to you in the hope that the perpetrators of this most .

everything possible is being done; that no clue, however insignificant it —
may seem, will be disregarded. 1 realize also that you are perhaps besieged.
