_ Mr. Harvey advised from Kansas City that although a women who witnes- ©
‘ged the shooting has identified the picture of "Pretty Boy*t#loyd as that of - — :
one of the men wth the machine guns, he doubts that this i fication should -—--
be considered positive; that another witness, Geimel’Esylink, has said = 2
positively that Harvey®Bailey was one of the men with ‘the machine guns; that .
Mr. Vetterli has recognized from the photographs that a man named Bob®Brady, :
another esceped convict, as one of the gimmen; that he, Mr. Harvey, ascertained —
yesterday at Lansing thet beyond a doubt Harvey Bailey was the ring-leader ao,
of the men who escaped from the penitentiary, which information was received -
from Warden Lewa;’one of ‘the officers kidnaped in. the ‘prigorisbréak, tho was cos
taken from the prison in a car by six escaping convicts: ‘that four of these ~
convicts, namely Bob Brady, Hervey Bailey, Wilbur ‘Underhill and Ed°Davis, have ~~
been tentatively identified es being connected with the shooting at the Union .
