ascertained fran Jprden-Thomas, Ohio State Penitentiary that they have no °
official record of the above individual, although Marden Thomas has some
general knowledge of his activities and reputation. He advised that in a

enclosed herewith. These hed been secured by Mr. Current from the Toledo, ~
Ohio police department. Mr. Current also has ea file on subject, indicating |
his cerrect name to be Charles Arthur Floyd, with the following aliases:
Frank Mitchell; "Pretty Boy” Smith; Charles Arthur Boyde “His fingerprint

Ohio Penitentiary, the {nformation being desired for use in an article to ~
be published in the American Bankers Association Journal, Protective Section —
for February 1932. .This letter {ndicatesa that subject hed been implicated _
4n numerous bank robberies in Oklahoma. It cites his conviction of November "
£4, 19350 following the robbery of e bank at Sylvania, Ohio his sentence to
12 years in the Ohio Penitentiary and his escape on ember 10, 1930‘ while.
