Farmer claimed that the telephone call to Kansas City to Verne Miller was put in first by her, Mras Nash, she then finally broke dow and recited to the writer what she knew in the case, asserting that the reason why sho previously lied about the mtter was because that she was scared that she — might be put on the spot if she would tale mo Se bout 4:00 delle on July 12, 1933, accompanied by four police officers of the Bte Louis, Missourig Police Department, Mrs. Hash, Special Agent Je Eo ae Brennan and the writer continued the journey by automobile to Kansas City. At Jefferson City, Missouri, in accordance with previcus arrangenants that had been made, Mrae Nash was transferred to & Sheriff's car (Jackson County) — in which Special agent Brantley and Deputy Sheriff Thorp arrived fran Kansas City to meet aAgentse Agent Brennan at this time returned to Ste Louis, together with police offers of the Ste Louie Police Departments ‘Wrae Kash,accompanied by the writer, Agent Brantley, together with Demy '_gheriff Thorp, proceeded to Kansas City, arriving there at 12:50 PM. on ” Taly 11, 1033— Mrs. Nash was taken to the Bureau office at Kansas city, where after considerable questioning by agent Brantley ené the writer she furnished a signed statement covering her association with Frank Nash during the past eighteen months and up to the time of the evente which took place at Kansas City, Miesourl, on the morning of June 17, 1935, the details of - which are set forth in the statement furnished to Agontse re I 1 Le Ge Turrou, Special agente Mrs, Hash was interviewed at the Kaneas City office by Special Agents Dwight -— Brantley and L.
