Kuness, on March 3, 1024, to serve a ecntence of tventy-five yeura, huving
becn convicted at Oklehiwa City, Oklahoma, in the Nestarn District of OKLahons,
for assauulting a mail custodiane The date «f hie conviction is not definitely
known to this office, but a-certified copy of the sonmmitment will be in the .
hands of the farden of the United States Peni-entiary at Leavenvorth who will
aleo be a witness to his incarceration there and hie subsequent escapee He

October 19, 1930. Nash was apprehended at Hot Springs, Arkansas, on the -
afternoon of June 16, 1933. While being escorted to the United States
Penitentiary at Leavenzo>th, Kansee, in custody of Speoial Agents F. S. Buith -
and Fe J» Lackey, acting officially under ordere fram the attorney General of
