any assistance, he wuld leave Joplin for Hot Springs, Arkansas the following

Galatas, Mrs. Farmer, and Herbert Allen Parmr, in order that Miller be posted
that the officers were to arrive on a Missouri Pacific train at 7:15 £2. Me at
Kansas City, eni to cause him to forcibly effeot the release of Rash. The
‘ parties thus far interviewed have mde conflicting and individually inconsistent
statenents, hoy will be re-interviewed at frequent intervals, aa additional

er, Joplin, Missouri, number 1541-%72; time, 12:05 A. M., June 17, 1955, This
eall was mde by Miller from the Union Railroad Station, Kansas City, Missouri
to the resideme of Herbert A. Farmer at Joplin, Missouri, accormling to an ad-
mission in writing mde to Special agents Brantley and Turrou, by Mrs. Nash
and ire, Farmer, who doth stated that the individual who called back was "Verne"
and was the geme party to whom Mrs, Nash and Galatas had talked, as ehown under
eall #7. ltrs. Nash admitted that she aleo talked on this call, as did Gelatas
in her presence, and that the conversation was had with reference to further
details of the intended erriwal of the officers with prismer Nash. Hote the
significance of this call in fixing the presence of Miller at the Union Railroad
Station at Kansas City,Mo. et midnight of June 16th.
It has been noted, through the investigation of this case, that Frank
B. Kulloy, mown as Fritz Mulloy, residing at 14 West Fifty-sixth Terrace,
Kansas City, Missouri, is possibly implicated, He has admitted verbally to
Special Agents Brantley and Turrou that he was well acquainted with Miller
for at least 8 months prior to June 16, 1933; that Miller frequently visited
him, and Lived with him for a period of several weeks pror to April 1, 1935.
He admitted, as noted under call #4, that he received a long distance telephones
eall from the 0. Pe Inn at Chicago, and passed on certein information as to
the telephone number of Miller in Kansas City, and leter made contact with
Miller regarding the call on June i6th.
