In this connection, SHERIFF RHODES advised thet some time ago in eonnection with a matter in which ' the Burne people were interested, concerning a robbery thought to have been perpotreted by FLOYD and one CHARLES EIRDWELL, he conducted considerable in- vestigation and maintained « lengthy surveillence on MR, and MRS.
