Turrou to KE. ness City Mrs» Frances Neab was reinterviewad at which time she
Teiterated the fact that Louis Stacci, Frank Nash and Verne Miller were
together on many occasions and were more than friends, She stated that apon
her arrival in Chicago from Joplin, Missourl, on 6#19-35, she proceeded to the
home of Louise Stecci where she had remired for saveral hours; thet Mrs.
Stacci had accompanied her to Wenona in her automobile, driven by Johnnie
Stacci, the brother of Louls Steccd; that about a week later she made a trip
. to Chicago and had aeen Louis Stacei and in a conversation with him she
' Feminded him of the $1,500.00 which he omd Frenk Nash, at which time Stacei
told her that all he owed Freok Nash was $50.00 and that he had no money to
- pay here Mree Nash ridiculed the assertions made by Stacei that he was un-
acquainted with Vernon Miller or Frank Nash, and stated that they have all
been pala for some times
On page 63 of the report of Special agent Trainor, dated
7015-33, discussion was bad of the purchase of an Essex Terraplane by one
@4, Carter® believed to be either identical with Vernon ¢. Miller or a clos
connection of hiss °
Qn S533, Agente Brantley and furrou made investigation
at the Barnes-Collard Motor Company, Leavenworth, Kanaas, where it was
learned that on 10-29-32 a party giving the name A» Carter, address National
Military Hore, Leavenworth, Eanaas, appeared with a 1932 Motel Chevrolet
Coupe, Motor #3085590, Illinois 1932 license tags J1-022691, and traded it for
a 1932 Chevrolet Sedan, Motor #330213, (The latter mentioned car is tie one
traded to the HudsouBrace Motor Compeny for the Basex Terraplane as mentioned
on page 63 of the Kanaas City report, 715-33.) Tbe party paid the difference
in the trade of $350.00 in cash in $100.00 bills, This perty had « large roll
