MEMORANDU:Y FOR THE DIRECTOR
Reference is made to the menorandum of Yr. L. C.
Schilder to the Director, dated Auguct 30, 1933, which contains the
criminal record of a ae HaACovell, who is described as a friend
of Subject Frank Nash deceased).
Ur. Dwight Brantley of the feshington Field Office by
telephonic comzunicetion advised the writer that he had located
Fenjenin H. Covell end interviewed him on August 3lst at the field
office. Mr. Brantley stated that he could incorporate in his report.
the criminal record of Benjamin H. Covel2 end the investigation desired
and would forward copies of the report to the Kansas City Division of-
fice. Mr. Brantley's report will likewise include informtion contained
in the memorandum of the Director, datec August 30th, which concerns
a telephone call between the Director ond Mr. Brantley on August 30.
