‘Oliver was questioned as to his possible acquaintanceahip with Red
Tompkins or Carmody, mentioned in the report of Special ascent ¥. He Tracy,
New York City, September 14, 183. He indicated thet he hae heard of the

It now appears very probable thet Oliver is being led by a delusion of
ome sort, However, it hae been the purposes of thia office to utilize the
value of his information, if possible, and he has not been discouraged. He
was advised by Special agent in Charge VYetterli that in the evant he could
actuslly produce and did so in ceusing the apprehension of Miller ani Galetas
or either, be would guarantee him a substential reward.
In the same connection reference is made to the letter from the Salt
Iske City office, dsted September 15, 1950, indicating an investigation to
verify a fomer statenent by Oliver relative to one LoulaepClark, the alleged
wife of a gangster named Clark, whe waa said to heve been Killed in the Denver
Mint robbery in 1923. Jt is noted that there was an individual killed whose
nam apvesre to have been Nick\{rainors In view of the fact that very little
{ uformtion concerning the tistory of Nick Trainor is available to the Salt
Leke City office, a copy of thia letter ia being sent to the Washington Pield
-. office with the request that his army record be disccvwared, if possible, by the
use of the fingerprints of Nick Treinor whose police number at Sen Francisco,
California, ia 26973, fingeryrint cleesificetion being 17 I 15.
