Interview had with assistant Manger z Me Ferrell, o :
Waldorf astoria Hotel, by Specie] agent S. K. McKee, resulted in learning
that on or about September 23, 1933 Benjamin Siegel approached Mr. Farrell -
end made reservations consisting of « three room suite for some guests when
he expected to wieit him for several days. At the time the reservations .
wore made Siegel stated that hie gueste would be three women accompanied
by several chiléren end that one of the women was Mra. George J. Hatfielé,
the wife of the District Attorney et San Franciaco. <According to Mr. Ferrell,
Siegel did not state how he happened to be acquainted with the Hatfields or .-
why Mra. Hatfield was coming to the hotel es his gueat. He requested Mr.
Farrell at the same time to transfer eh charges incurred ” the party | ae

Clusion of such itens as the above with the other charges incurred at the -
hotel was not the usual thing, Mr. Ferrell communicated with Siegel's
epartment by telephone and left a message that he wishéd to telk to hin.
