BATLEY, one of the anbjecte in the case entitled "VERNON COMILLER, with aliases, FUGITIVE, I, 0. #1195, ET AL + OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE (Endeavor to deliver Federal Prisoner Frank Nash). Speciel agent Flood interviewed Mr. G. FP. Bankua, brother-in-law of Subject Bailey, 816 lath Avenue, Council Bluffs, Towa. Aleo information was secured through the Dea Moines Register, - Magazine Section, pursuant to an interview which was had by a representative of the Associated: Press, whose name ie not et this time known, with Mra, Amanda E.fBailey, mother of this Subject, Green City, Missouri. The greater portion of this information ie based on the interview with the mother by the representative of the Associated Frese. The following personal history is shown: cpio hi NEAR 24°90 amawiorm: - Bailey was born on the West Fork of the Monongahela River, near Weston, West Virginia. There were seven children, five boys and two girle, in the family of Harvey Bailey's parente. The Bailey family lived on a farm in West Virginia, at the plece — mentioned, until Bailey we about 14 years of age, when they moved to Green City, Missouri, in the year 1902. There they settled on e -200 ecre farm, three miles southwest of Green City, on which farm Mrs. Anenda E. Bailey and her widowed daughter, Mre. Lucretia Gum, still reside. The Bailey family attended the New Zion Baptist Church at Green City, and it is said that Harvey Bailey went to church regularly.
