Division of Investigation, _
U. S. Department of Justice,
Washington, D.C,
Deer Sir:
Kindly refer to Diviaion letter of November -
7, and to my conversations with Mr. Tolson at Washington re-
garding the wig used by Frank Nash at the time of his deeth.
ow
I regret to advise that the wig in question 4
fe no longer in the possession of this office. Inquiries at 3
the office reveal that ahortly before I took charge of the _
office, the wig end other personal effects of Frenk Nash were B
turned over to ifrs. Nagsh, upon the urgent insistence of ore
Mre. Nash, and her attorney, Mr, Madden. agents Spear and <
Trainor further advise me that it would probubly be impossible Pa
to secure the return of the wig from Mra. Nash. accordingly, iS)
it doee not appear that the wig will be available for use in
the Division's exhibits. -
