that of Miller. It was the view of those present that no purpose would
be served in publishing this information in the Magi tive Bulletin. Lon.
As ‘nai cated in Er. Schilder's manorandum of Decenber i,
1933, the prints of the corpse found neur Detroit trananit ted with
the letter frosa the Detroit office under date of November 20, 1933,
were conpared in the Identification Unit and were found to be identical -
with the finzerprints of Verne C. Miller, according to the letter
above mentioned and as indiceted on the finserprint card, these prints
were taken by Charles Racey, employee of the Identification Bureau of ©. 7
the Detroit Police Department and were taken at the County Morgue. tebe
Further, these prints were obtained by Special agent in Charge Larson:
at the County Lorgue at the time he viewed the body at that place,’ -~ .
Mr. Larson also reported that these prints were classified by Russell ~
J. McCarty, a detective in the Identification Bureau of the Detroit .
Police Departuent, and a search through the Department's records indi-- 7 an
cated that the fingerprints were identical with those of Vernon Ge Lil lier .
