Dear Sir: On February 2let,2054 Major Lewie Neans of the Miasouri State Highwey Patrol called this office and advised that Cherles Aarthur’Floyd and Ader! xacchetti had on the night of June 7,1935,stohan «a 10535 model Pontiac Coupe from a school teacher of the Excelsior Consolidated District located at Cromwell, Oklahoma and that they had absondoned thie car on June 16,1933 eat Bolivar, Missouri. He stated that all information as to the name of the owner and the moter number of this car could be obteined from the esuthorities at Cromvell, Oklahoma, ‘Further that the authorities at Bolivar, Missouri had the names of the witnesses necessary to establish that these aub jects were in poesession of thie car at Bolivar and thet they ebanjdoned sam: at that plece. . It is suggested that appropriete investigation te conducted relative to this violation of the National Motor Vehicle Theft Act. It would seom that this case would be e logical one in which to obtein some Federal procesa for Ficyd, it being noted of course that there is an 1,0, nor cutetanding against him but that no federal process has ever . been iesued. A copy of this letter ie being forwarded to the Oklahoma City office in order that they any conduct the necessary investigation at Cromwell,Oklehoma.
