The indictment in that case, chargingtheft from interstate shipment, wae returned in Federal Court at Fert Scott, Kansas, November 14, 1923, It does not appear from the Kansas City file that there were any fingerprints of Tom Hill taken at the time of his conviction in this distriet, Agent Farland was told today at the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department that Hill served a sentence of one year and one day in the U. S. Penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kanses, for National Motor Vehicle Theft Act violation, having been sentenced at Nowata, Oklahoma, according to the belief of Police Sergeant Jeff Rayen here. Investigation will be made at Leavenworth to secure his fingerprint record if this be the fact, The Oklahoma City file number of the ease involving Hill, having to do with Perjury, appears to be 74-51.
