is said to be well known to Captain Stewart of the Tulsa, Oklahoma,
Police Department, who may be aware of any criminal record of that
individual,
JIM CLARE is former subject of Division I,0, £1192.
TOM HILL is the former subject of ease entitled Tommie Hill,
A. W. Karns, Madge Hill Karns, Perjury, which case originated in the
Oklahoma City office. He was also a subject of a file involving theft
from interstate shipment and according to the records of the Kansas City
office in that case on May 6, 1924, Hill pleaded guilty at Fort Seott,
Kansas, and was sentenced to serve four months in the Montgomery County
Jail and was fined $1,000.00. The indictment in that case, chargingtheft
from interstate shipment, wae returned in Federal Court at Fert Scott,
Kansas, November 14, 1923, It does not appear from the Kansas City file
that there were any fingerprints of Tom Hill taken at the time of his
conviction in this distriet, Agent Farland was told today at the Kansas
City, Missouri, Police Department that Hill served a sentence of one
year and one day in the U. S. Penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kanses, for
National Motor Vehicle Theft Act violation, having been sentenced at
Nowata, Oklahoma, according to the belief of Police Sergeant Jeff Rayen
here. Investigation will be made at Leavenworth to secure his fingerprint
record if this be the fact, The Oklahoma City file number of the ease
involving Hill, having to do with Perjury, appears to be 74-51.
