Reference is mie to a telegran from the st. Peul office -
to thie office, dated February £7, 1054, requesting that epecinens
of handwriting other than signatures be obtained of Volney Davis,
arthur (Doc) Barker, end Barry Campbell. ;

Etate Penitentiery failed to show any handwriting of these individuals
other than signatures. a
The office of the Parcle and Pardon sstorney, etate of

in this file, were borrowed, with the promise that they vould be re-
turned, and are transmitted herewith, These letters were receipted
for and should be earefully preserved as it was definitely requested
that they be returned when they have served their purpose.

signature. I am transmitting herewith three perole reports purport-
ing to bear his signature; ove for February, 1955, renéered February
27, 1933 at Neoeho, Missouri and witnessed by K. M. Roley, S. A.
Keller and G. E. Barker, and in thie parole report Doc Berker states
that be was aployed sixteen days during that month by S. A. Keller
at Neosho, Missouri. -Another for March, 1935, rendered at Neosho,
Missouri, with the return address, Bor 174 of that town, dated Mareb
£8, 1923, in which he stated thet thet would be his address in-
definitely and that for eighteen days he worked for different partie

end Rannie Farmer. The third report isa for January, 1934, rendered
at Neosho, Kiesourl, return addreas Post Office Eox 17¢ of thet torn,
