He stated that be saw Plemmons get into an sutomobile on March 12th in the morning in Salina and saw him return that evening, but he does not know where he went or with whom he was traveling that day. : Pliemmots related many stories during the time I was in his company about how Floyd travels, On one occasion he stated that Floyd places a mattresa in the rear compartment of a coupe, gets in there and goes to sleep and has & woran drive him up and down the country. Such stories as these, of course, do not impress me with the soundness of Plemmons' mentality. Plemmons stated that he would let me hear from him within a few days and that when I do hear that he would have the exact location of the alleged hideout. At this time I am not undertaking an investigation concerning the identity of the young man from Miami who is alleged to have accompanied Plemmons on March 12th. However, should further word de not received from Plermons within ea reagonable time, this angle of the case will be given further consideration.
